Dental Services We Provide Include

Oral Hygiene/Dental Cleaning

Alvin Dental Care believes in a preventative program, which is a unified effort between the dentist, patient and dental staff to maintain all of your natural teeth and dental arches. This will avert dental diseases and conditions from occuring, recurring or progressing.
Maintaining a proper and balanced diet, as well as a consistent and thorough oral hygiene practice at home is the first step to preventing dental disease. Visiting your dental office for routine maintenance will further benefit the general health and restoration of your oral health.

You can stop dental disease before it starts with routine dental exams that include cleanings, and x-rays. We also provide sealants and fluoride which are highly effective treatments that protect your teeth.

Making efforts to prevent the risk of expensive dental problems is fundamental to keeping your smile healthy, confident and gorgeous.

Natural Looking Fillings

If you require a filling, our dentists will review the best options, as there are many different types of resin fillings available. The most commonly used is the tooth colored resin, which we will match to your natural tooth color, providing an unnoticeable appearance.

Though fillings are a sturdy and lasting solution, they will eventually need to be replaced after natural wear. We can keep an eye on your fillings durability with regular dental cleanings!

Reasons To Receive Composite Fillings:

  • Cracked or broken teeth.
  • Decayed teeth.
  • Worn teeth.

It may advised that a tooth be extracted. Our dentist provides simple and surgical extractions, including wisdom teeth. Before a tooth extracted, we will take an x-ray to understand the condition of your tooth. On some occasions, depending on the severity of the tooth’s injury, you may be referred to a specialized oral surgeon.

As the interest in cosmetic dentistry has increased dramatically throughout the last decade, you can now obtain your dream smile in a matter of weeks. With advances in cosmetic dentistry providing an impressive array of choices to improve your oral health, we can help you maintain your smile’s natural youth and confidence.

We are grateful for the advances in cosmetic dentistry that enables our ability to improve our client’s smiles through painless, efficient and cost-effective treatments.

Cosmetic Dental Treatment Capabilities:

  • Correct the alignment, shape and size of specific teeth.
  • Correct and fill gaps between teeth.
  • Improve or correct under and over bites.
  • Brighten the color of your teeth for a cleaner look and feel.
  • Fill and repair teeth affected by decay, cracks, chips and breaks.
  • Restore your smile by replacing missing teeth.
  • Update and restore outdated or unsightly dental treatments.

Remember, your smile is your first impression!

Veneers are used to close spaces between teeth, and can make stains and cracks disappear. These custom-made, natural tooth colored laminates are made from porcelain and constructed to cover the front portion of the affected tooth. Dr. Fournier is a certified Lumineer provider.

This procedure requires attaching composite resin material, matched to the color of your tooth, to the front of the tooth. Bonding is suited to repair damage caused by decay, fix tooth alignment, fill gaps between teeth and more. The composite will be placed on your tooth, allowing the bonding agent to solidify in place. Once hardened the tooth is then shaped and polished for a gorgeous outcome.
Crowns, also known as “caps”, function as a way to restore and enhance your teeth. Crowns serve to make your existing teeth look better while adding sturdiness and strength. Newly made crowns created by natural-looking porcelain will help you avoid the unpleasant line between the gums and teeth.
If you lose an adult/permanent tooth, this will cause the remaining teeth, as well as your natural jaw alignment to drift and change. This can lead to dental issues such as tooth decay, gum disease and an uncomfortable, as well as unhealthy bite. Bridges will replace the missing tooth, subsequently restoring your bite and the natural shape of your face.

With different types of bridges available, our dentists can advise you on which option will work best for your needs.

Dental implants provide a more long term solution for replacing a missing tooth, or teeth, than removable partials and dentures are able to.

Implants have a surgically placed root in the upper or lower jaw bone, generally made from titanium. A natural looking tooth is then attached to the root for a fully restored smile.

Dental implants are sturdy and secure, lasting for many years.
